male hair loss
Female hair loss question?

I’m in my twenties, and I wonder what advice to be taken now to prevent or minimize the fate of male hair loss. Any advice is welcome, thank:) BTW, I’m not at that point yet, but I’ve noticed changes, but could be due to stress. I’ve heard before acting on it the better chances, so I thought I might well ask …

Stress can cause hair loss, but there are many things that can also be hormonal. It can convert testosterone into DHT, which can cause hair loss and can also cause an enlarged prostate as they age. who refuse to testosterone because it is very important, but you want to avoid that conversion to DHT and also to stop convert to estrogen can be done through the action of aromatase Enzym. Nettle root extract helps maintain free testosterone in the body and flows to accede to prevent SBGH (sex hormone binding globulin) and helps deter conversion to DHT (dihydrotestosterone). Regarding the conversion can estrogent check out an anti-supplement aromataze as diindolemethane (DIM) or chrisin. Stimulate the scalp will help bring blood and vitamins to the hair follicles to scalp massage (deep. .. must move the scalp around not just rub the surface) also consider getting a shampoo loss Nioxin hair like, or I found best for me was the hair of Genesis. Even combining the shampoo / conditioner a supplement containing material to assist with above, including saw palmetto berries, which anyway is good for prostate health.

Hair Vitamins Do More Than Make Your Hair Grow

So which products are sold the most across the USA for healthy hair? If you said shampoos then you would have to look a little deeper as the answer is Hair Vitamins. That is right! Hair Vitamins work for hair growth according to a survey that reviewed over 500 women and asked them what worked for their hair growth. The answer was hair vitamins and shampoos that removed residue and scalp build up from the scalp. They actually work hand in hand since removing the scalp build up allows your hair root to receive more of the nutrition at the root level and this is vital to healthy hair growth.

Shampoos that contain vitamins are also a good start for healthy hair as they work to the root of the hair since they are topically applied and vitamin shampoos are wonderful for the hair as well. So why are vitamins so important to the hair? The answer is that they have everything that hair needs to grow healthy and this includes products for women and for men. They have all the b group of vitamins as well as the amino acids that hair needs as well as certain minerals that the body uses to make up the strands of hair. Together these work to get hair growing as fast as it possibly can and that means hair that is growing at its maximum as well as hair that is growing to its full potential. So what problems are hair vitamins good for?

The answer is that hair vitamins help just about all hair problems since the healthier that hair grows out the more withstanding the hair is of all types of procedures that are performed on the hair. The healthier hair is the less damaging it is when heat is applied to it and the same with coloring and perming the hair. This means that as hair is weakened the more easily damaged the hair is so the best solution to get hair the healthiest from the root of the hair. So to answer the question hair vitamins do an amazing job of helping with all kinds of hair problems including dry hair, brittle, weak, damaged, over processed, and even h air that is not growing properly. As a matter of fact it works wonders for hair that is not growing properly. Thinning hair and hair that is falling needs nutrition in a bad way but it also needs to have more attention paid to the root in general. As a matter of fact the hair is most likely being thinned out because of hormones, lack of nutrition, build up on the root of the hair or stress as all of these can cause hair loss in women and men and this means that all of the above should be addressed. It is important to note that all of the above either starts with the lack of nutrition in the hair or ends with lack of nutrition in the hair. For example stress hair loss results in lack of nutrition in the center of the hair and this lack of nutrition if left untreated will cause hair fall to last for several weeks to months and if nothing is done about the lack of nutrition the hair will continue to fall until there is intervention. With dht or hormonal related hair thinning there is a problem with the hair being choked by the dht hormone and this choking action means that nutrition is shut off from the hair.

To help with this using a deep cleansing shampoo that will help to remove the hormones as well as hormone blockers applied directly to the scalp that help to block the conversion of testosterone to dht (the hormone that causes hair loss). After that has been performed then it is time to add back in the hair vitamins as these vitamins will then supply the hair what it needs to grow healthy again. As you can see, healthy hair all depends on the nutrition level in the hair and this nutrition level is vital for all hair problems and can help with each one including hair thinning and loss in women and in men.

Alternative Hair Loss Treatment

Alternative hair loss treatments can and do help to stem the constant hair loss.

Men can be very sensitive about baldness. Young men in particular, who experience substantial hair loss at an early age, fall prey to low self esteem or lack of confidence, even resulting in depression.

From a survey done in Australia in 1998 of 850 men aged between 18 and 40, a quarter of those surveyed reported feeling less confident as a result of losing their hair and one fifth of them felt less attractive. A massive three quarters of those surveyed believed that balding men looked older than non-balding men. A further 16% of them felt inferior compared to men with no hair loss.

Clearly then, balding is affecting men psychologically. They are more inclined to judge themselves in a negative way because they are losing their hair. There is also evidence to suggest that a small number of men who have an obsession about balding, could be masking some other, more serious psychological issues.

It is also worth noting that some hair loss becomes more noticeable when there is a particularly large amount of stress in life. This would lead us then to say that the best drug free hair loss treatment would have to be controlling stress and working on self esteem.

It is inevitable that some people are going to lose their hair and there is nothing they can do about it, rather like worrying about whether the sun is going to come up each day. Instead, would it not be better to work at accepting the fact that this is an inevitable part of their life and remaining happy and confident in spite of it?

Therefore if you are affected negatively by your hair loss, it may be a good idea to talk things over with a counselor or a mental health professional perhaps along with using the available treatments that are available.

This could be one of the most beneficial alternative hair loss treatments you could implement! There are plenty of books available on self esteem that you could get into alongside visits to talk things over.

Interestingly enough, there is some anecdotal evidence to suggest that women in general do not mind about men losing their hair, it is the men that seem to be the most stressed, thinking they will not be attractive enough.

Other men again embrace their thinning hair and use it as an opportunity to shave their whole head for an entirely different look! This look, according to women in general, is very attractive and there are quite a number of women who prefer it!

It has long been believed that balding men have a higher sex drive, so what clearer indication to give to the world of available women, than the completely bald head! To conclude then, it is better to try and embrace nature and apply your own ‘alternative hair loss treatment’ in the form of long term acceptance of the fact that you are just not supposed to be as hairy as some and figure out the best ways to become comfortable in your own skin.

The Latest Hair Loss Treatments Available

If you’re concerned about baldness and thinning hair, there are many new types of hair loss treatments that are available for you.

If you’re concerned about baldness and thinning hair, there are many new types of hair loss treatments that are available for you. These include certain medications and even surgical interventions to correct or prevent this problem.

Medical Hair Loss Treatments

There are only two drugs approved by the FDA that have proven to be effective against hair loss, Finasteride and Minoxidil or Rogaine.

Finasteride works by blocking an enzyme called 5-alpha reductase; this enzyme converts into a hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is thought to be the leading cause of male pattern baldness. This medication as a hair loss treatment is prescribed under the names Propecia and Proscar. Originally designed as a treatment for prostate problems, thickening hair was noticed as a side effect of this medication. Finasteride usually takes about three months for any results and hair loss can resume a year after the medication is stopped. There is a risk of birth defects if women were to take this medication and get pregnant, so it’s important that women of child bearing years who plan on getting pregnant or who have a risk of getting pregnant not only avoid taking this medication but also avoid handling any pills as well. There are other hair loss treatments for women that are concerned with thinning hair but Finasteride should not be used by them if they plan on getting pregnant.

Other hair loss treatments include Rogaine, which is the commercial name of Minoxidil. Rogaine seems to be effective in about 25% of men but works only as long as it is applied. Women’s Rogaine is also effective as one of the hair loss treatments for women and too only works as long as it is being applied.

Surgical Hair Loss Treatments

While you may be a bit uneasy about surgical intervention, these have been greatly improved over the past few years and typically have great success.

Transplants are very common types of hair loss treatments. Small plugs of hair are taken from the side or back of the scalp and transplanted into areas of the scalp that are thinning. This procedure needs several months for the plugs to fill in and look natural. In a tissue expansion procedure, tiny balloons are inserted under the scalp and then gradually inflated; when this happens the skin loosens slightly and is then removed so that the bald area is not as noticeable. Scalp reduction hair loss treatments may seem dangerous and extreme, but in some cases the forehead can be pulled back slightly which reduces wrinkles as well.

If you’re curious about any of these hair loss treatments you should definitely speak to your doctor. He or she can give your scalp a thorough exam and recommend the best option for you personally. And if you opt for surgical treatment, be sure you choose a physician that specializes in this type of surgery.

Natural Hair Loss Treatment and Its Alternatives

If you’re concerned about losing your hair (and which young male with a receding hairline isn’t), then you’ll be relieved to discover these alternative and natural hair loss treatments…

Apart from wigs or transplants as a technique of ceasing hair loss, there are many alternative and natural hair loss treatments available. All deviate in price and method, ranging from doing them in a person’s home, to going to a specialist clinic.

Steamer Treatments as natural hair loss treatments

This option is said to work on the same principles as saunas do, opening the pores and permitting the discharge of waste. It can be done in a person’s bathroom with hot towels on a scalp with the product available to aid them with this or in a real sweat room where the effects could be experienced on the entire body.

High Frequencies

Here we have a high pitch current which shakes up the surface of the scalp by massaging the cells of the scalp. It is alleged to improve the nourishment, stimulate local blood circulation, arouse glandular activity as well as adding heat and is calming to the nervous system of the scalp.

Laser Treatment

Laser treatment is a newfangled type of treatment that’s on the market. A low voltage beam is pulsed over the scalp which claims to give stimulation to the follicle which makes fresh hair grow. This treatment can cost up to several thousand dollars for a course of thirty visits to the clinic.

Scalp Massagers as natural hair loss treatments

This is usually carried out to loosen the scalp, and aid penetration of the medication. It is claimed that it also arouses the surface blood supply. Allegedly embryonic hair is formed from materials transported by the same capillary system.

Specialist Shampoos and Scalp Tonics

Most clinics have their own range of hair tonics, shampoos and conditioners. A few top clinics sell several months course of tonic, shampoo and scalp cleanser. They’re not cheap, and it is claimed that they are too expensive compared to what the consumer is getting for their money.

It is best if a person decides to go for this option as an alternative hair loss treatment is to ask for the three main ingredients in their products, then consult a doctor to see if the ingredients have actually been proven to make a big difference to people suffering from hair loss. It is also worth asking for a free sample. If a clinic does not provide free samples then it cannot have too much faith in its own products which will certainly tell the customer something about the company.

As for this writer…the one and only natural hair loss treatment that worked for me is called Provillus, this is a naturally made product that restricts DHT and nourishes the hair. Go check out my Provillus Review and decide for yourself.

Laser Hair Loss Treatment

This article is about one of the most common ways of fighting against hair loss by way of laser hair loss treatment.

One of the most common ways of treating hair loss today is through laser hair loss treatment. It was already performed in the 1970s, and at that time it was not officially on the market. It is a non-surgical solution for hair loss, thinning hair, and baldness, as well as, other disorders of the scalp such as dermatitis.

Technically it is a piece of equipment that has 31 therapeutic soft low light level lasers delivering light energy to different places on the hair. This principle is based on stimulating cell metabolism while repairing damaged cells at the same time. By using the power of laser light you can boost and revitalize your hair. The theory is that light is energy and living cells survive thanks to light. The same goes for your hair. This has proven to be very efficient combined with proper hair hygiene products. As a matter of fact, laser hair loss treatment is more effective when used together with Minoxidil (the first drug approved by the FDA for hair loss), and with the right scalp hygiene.

Laser hair loss treatment has been so successful that it has received numerous, positive reviews. Magazines, newspapers as well TV channels claim that the success of this method of treating hair loss is one of the best that can be found today, a problem that is not only afflicting men but also a good percentage of women.

Many are the benefits of laser hair loss treatment and many people who tried it have claimed that their hair loss had been greatly reduced after six to twelve weeks of use and slight differences could even be seen after twelve weeks.

Using laser hair loss treatment can improve the flow of blood supply to the scalp after a single treatment. The correct dosage of light energy is applied from a different number of laser positions and helps in stimulating hair follicles, preventing too much hair loss and giving beautiful hair which is shiny, soft as well as thick and better manageable.

Laser hair loss treatment is the new, scientific approach to reducing hair loss in the scalp, and does not require any kind of surgery at all just some patience and time. Moreover it has been medically tested to be both safe and effective.

Last but not least, studies conducted by the International Journal of Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetic Dermatology, have demonstrated that laser hair loss treatment can positively help lots of hair loss sufferers in reducing the amount of hair loss. The authors also found a link between low level laser and hair loss.

Hair Loss Natural Treatment

How you can treat Hair Loss, without spending a fortune on medicines. Natural remedies and advices for healthier, fuller and stronger hair.

Thinning hair, hair loss and especially baldness are stressful and traumatic issues for men as they grow older. At least 50% of male population of earth suffers from hair loss problems and this percentage is higher for men in developed world, due to tense life, unhealthy nutrition and pestiferous climate. Moreover, if your father had hair loss then you probably encounter with the same hair condition because "male pattern baldness" is a hereditary disease.

Treating hair loss has interested physicians and scientists through out history and many natural and pharmaceutical cures has been proposed. Recently, medical researches have finally proved the overall cause of hair loss. An androgenic hormone (named dihydrotestosterone or DHT) gradually increases in the receptors at hair follicles as men grow up and as a result, hair follicles shrink, hair becomes thinner, progressively falls and eventually no new healthy hair grows.

The understanding of the cause of hair loss does not mean that there has been success in discovery of hair loss treatment. Many pharmaceutical, beauty products and natural remedies "promise" to improve hair health but nothing can be considered as panacea. Below there are some natural treatment (some have been used for centuries) that concern hair loss. Of course, treating hair loss may last long and therefore you should be patient and determined. You will not see a new head full of hair after just one or two treatments. Nevertheless, repeated use will probably offer you a better looking, healthier and fuller hair.

A widely used home remedy is with use of herb Aloe Vera. It is believed that by rubbing your head with leafs of Aloe Vera, you achieved balanced scalp’s Ph, improved circulation to the area and stimulated hair follicles able to provide new healthy hair.

Another popular treatment with essential oils suggests before going to bed, to apply to head a blend composed of 4 essential oils and 1 vegetable oil: 2 drops of lavender oil, 2 drops of rosemary oil, 2 drops of thyme oil and 2 of cedarwood oil based in 50 ml of jojoba vegetable oil. After applying, massage your scalp for half an hour or more, in order the blend to have the time to take action and then give it a rinse. If you are not experienced with aromatherapy blends, you can benefit from essential oils by just adding 4 drops of bay oil to your normal shampoo.

Finally, follow these everyday advices for stronger and healthier hair. After shampooing your hair, you dry it naturally or use a hairdryer. Remember that you should never rub or wring your hair with a towel to dry it. This will damage the brittle and breakable hair. You can also wrap a large and thick towel around your hair and wait until the towel absorb the water. Moreover, if you choose the hairdryer solution, do not overdo with it, because too hot or too much drying leads to undesirable results. Additionally, keep in mind that sleeping in a tight braid can cause hair breakage or loss of hair over time.

Women’s Hair Loss Treatment

Hair loss in women is more common than you might think. There are many causes behind women’s hair loss, including physical or emotional stress, surgery, chemical treatments and more, but there are also a variety of women hair loss treatment options to try if you are a sufferer. The first thing you need to do is to visit a dermatologist to determine the cause of your hair loss.

Prescription Drugs for Hair Loss in Women

Rogaine, or minoxidil, is a popular treatment. It was originally developed for male pattern balding but works on some female hair loss sufferers too. Rogaine helps to enlarge and lengthen the hair follicle, extending the growth phase and helping you to keep your remaining hair for longer. Another women hair loss treatment is Propecia, or finasteride, which interfere with the process that converts testosterone to DHT in hair follicles. These drugs are pills which are to be taken orally and are unsafe for an expectant mother or a women trying for a baby because they can be damaging to the fetus.

Another pharmaceutical treatment is Aldactone, or spironolactone, which is a diuretic and testosterone inhibitor. This stops androgen related hair loss by impacting the enzyme receptors of the hair follicle. Side effects can include breast soreness but this works well as a women hair loss treatment for some sufferers.

Other Women Hair Loss Treatment Ideas

If pharmaceutical remedies show little or no effect, you might need to consider a hair transplant. This is when small plugs of hair are removed from the body and transplanting on to the balding areas of the head. The process is not cheap but the results are permanent.

Some shampoos and conditioners can make hair loss in women worse and others can treat it. Cheap shampoo, which contains harsh detergents, should always be avoided. Try to find a shampoo with "scalp health" on the label and bend over forwards when you massage it in, to encourage blood flow to the scalp.

Changing Your Diet to Counter Female Hair Loss

If your hair loss is caused by a deficiency, changing your diet or taking a multi vitamin and mineral supplement might be a helpful women hair loss treatment option. If your hair loss is caused by anemia, you should add plenty of iron-rich food to your diet, such as brazil nuts, broccoli and red meat. Vitamin B6 is important if you are a hair loss sufferer, as are iron and zinc. Protein-rich foods and amino acids can fight hair loss. Low copper levels can cause hair loss but too much copper can be toxic so you should speak to a healthcare professional before taking supplements. Vitamin B5, folic acid, silica, biotin and paraminobenzoic acid are believed to maintain the color and thickness of the hair.

Supplements for Women Hair Loss Treatment

Aloe vera can help with hair loss. This plant contains 75 nutrients, 18 amino acids and 12 kinds of vitamins. Indians and Native Americans have used aloe vera for centuries to fight hair loss. Aloe vera balances the scalp’s pH and cleans the pores. It can be beneficial for alopecia sufferers because it is a natural anti-inflammatory. Stinging nettles and saw palmetto are other hair loss supplements you can try.

The women hair loss treatment which is best for you depends on the reason why you are losing hair. There are plenty of remedies to try, both pharmaceutical and natural, so it might take a while to find the right women hair loss treatment which offers great results to you personally.

Hair is one very important part from the human appearance. Of course, it makes a great impression of the world around you. Your hair is a ‘mirror’ of your health and confidence. That is why sometimes when it starts to thin or even fall out you’ll likely start to feel depressed as a result.

Hair problems are quickly observed, and it isn’t confined just to men, unfortunately women have a tendency to lose their hair as well. It can be because of stress, genetic problems, lack of the proper vitamins and nutrients in your body, hereditary reasons, and hormonal problems (there are other reasons but these are some of the majors). Let’s explore some of them in more detail:

Alopecia Androgenica

Usually, men get bald because of hereditary conditions handed down to them their parents. It is called Alopecia Androgenica and as you can guess it is quite an unpleasant moment for everyone. Unfortunately, in this case there isn’t much that can be done, because the roots of your hair just stop producing. The only good thing about hair growth vitamin supplements is that if men take more vitamin H, it can have a positive impact on their hair loss. Failing that, hair restoration transplantation is the last resort.

Birth

Another problem that might occur with hair is hormone imbalance. Women can have the problem of having hair loss right after giving birth, but it should just be temporary. It is usually because of the level of stress put on the body, as well as being draining on the bodies’ resources. Women can help their hair and stimulate its growth with some hair growth vitamin supplements – Inositol for strong hair, vitamin A for its good condition, and possibly B, C, iron and zinc to help with the growth production.

Hormonal problems

In this case, women start loosing their hair all over their head. Here, hair growth vitamin supplements will definitely help, but as an addition, women should go to their doctor to get a blood test to check their hormonal levels to find out exactly what they should be taking.

Thyroid imbalance (which causes hormonal problems) is another thing that can affect your hair loss. In this case, hair growth vitamin supplements can help in a huge case, because it will help to get your thyroid back into balance, and there for fix the issue.
