can hair loss in men be reversed? do some products out there really work?
should i start by going to a dermatologist?
From experience of trial and error with many products, I found the only product that made my hair grow back and continue to grow was Rogaine (www.rogaine.com). The only bad thing about this product is you need to use twice a day everyday! Ugh! 
I definetely suggest you to go see a dermatologist first. Your hair loss may not be caused by Alopecia (thininning hair), but maybe form a lack of a vitamin, for example Iron. The pattern of how you are thinning is a sure tale sign of what the reason is.
